The mission of our department is to contribute to student success by promoting and providing a bridge of communication within the school system and our community.

Goals

• Provide communications support for the Safe Schools Plan

• Develop funding opportunities for projects that support safe schools

• Expand quality training for all staff

• Establish a unified voice for education in the community regarding growth

• Put into place quality management principles and tools to better serve the public schools and community of Cumberland County

• To provide communications support to Human Resources Department for the recruitment, selection, development and retention of the very best personnel

• To continue to use technology to enhance communication
